Through a special partnership with
The Nature Conservancy
(TNC), this fellowship program seeks to engage undergraduates in
interdisciplinary research efforts designed to make substantive
contributions to the field of conservation science and
significantly influence policy. Opportunities to work on
conservation related research are available for next summer,
with the potential to continue research during the following
school year. Applications for next summer's fellowships will be
available in the winter quarter from this website and from the
Environmental Studies Institute office (Daly Science 204). A
course in statistics is highly recommended for fellowship
applicants. Past research projects have
focused on conservation easements, wetlands restoration
effectiveness and global indicators for conservation
decision-making. |
