Within the ESI community of
scholars, we strive to perform research that can be used by the
public at some level to make decisions regarding the
environment. We pride ourselves on involving undergraduates
extensively in our research. |

Students can perform research for
course credit (ENVS 199). Some students, especially those who do
their research during the summer, are supported by grants (e.g.
NSF, EPA, etc.) awarded to our faculty or through our Nature
Conservancy (TNC) fellowship program. Applications for TNC
fellowships become available in the Winter quarter. |
