| The Environmental Studies Institute offers a variety of study abroad opportunities that expose students to the social and scientific dimensions of environmental dilemmas around the world.
Undergraduates can spend a Summer in Trinidad and Tobago taking courses such as Politics in Less-Developed Countries: Environmental Policy in Trinidad and Tobago, Environmental Biology in the Tropics, and Non-Fiction Writing: Writing about Nature and the Environment. We also have two courses that involve course work performed on the SCU campus combined with a week long immersion trip. In the Spring, we offer
The Natural History of Baja and in the Fall we offer Sustainable Development in Costa Rica.
In addition, many of our students spend a semester in Kenya, Costa Rica, or Australia through the
School for Field Studies.
Other study abroad opportunities can be explored at: SCU Study Abroad Programs .
