Positive Psychology and Clinical Work: Repairing Neural Behavioral Pathways through Strength-Based Intervention Course number: CPSY x 570 Current research in developmental neurobiology suggests that positive relational experiences are reparative to the brain. Building upon this key finding, participants will learn to utilize strength-based interventions in order to promote healthy psychological development, and facilitate healing and forgiveness. In addition to summarizing recent developments in the field of neurology, this workshop is designed for mental health professionals to learn intricate communication skills that neutralize and heal negative emotional states and maladaptive relational patterning .
