GRAPHIC SERVICES -
Need a graphic scanned or created for your website? Need
PowerPoint slides or a PowerPoint template created? Need publisher
ready prints for your article or book? Do you have questions
about presentation graphics or photography services?
The
person who can answer all of these questions and more is Elwood
Mills, 554-6903 (emills@scu.edu),
or in Media Services, located in the Ricard Observatory.
Elwood works with faculty, students, and staff to design
and produce computer generated graphics, photographic materials,
and electronic resources to enhance teaching and learning,
support research and publishing, improve effectiveness of
administrative departments, and enhance the image of the University.
He works with individual clients to identify needs and appropriate
format for the final product; produce materials in hard copy
format - slides, transparencies, prints - or as file image
for web or other electronic use; and provide hardware/software
expertise and support to those clients preferring to complete
the design elements themselves.
Services include:
- Computer generated images - including titles, charts,
and graphs - are available on slides and OH transparencies
- Hard copy for publication or handouts
- User-generated files, such as Powerpoint and other image
files can also be output to slides, transparencies, or hard
copy.
- Graphics scanning (from copy or slides) available.
- Produce publisher ready prints, web materials, and slides
from books or line drawings.
