Tracking Student Use of Media Lab:
A faculty member may track their students use of the
lab via the WEB, through the following steps:
1.OPEN NETSCAPE and GO TO THE MEDIA LAB FACULTY REPORT at
http://www.scu.edu/faculty/itrs/MediaWeb/facmain.cfm
2. SELECT YOUR NAME from the pop-up menu (your name will
be there ONLY if a student has checked out course materials
for your class). SELECT THE COURSE by clicking on the "Show
Courses" button which will take you to a
Faculty Course List page listing all sections you are teaching
this quarter. Select a specific course from the list shown
by clicking on the "section number." The Materials
List for Course page shows the materials students used with
an entry for each student use - the materials they were reviewing,
the date, and the length of time they spent in the lab.
PLEASE GIVE US FEEDBACK by clicking on the "feedback"
on the main page and sending a message.
If youd like a personal tour of the process above, please
give Nancy Cutler (x4915) or Dan Maloney (x4520) a call. Please
let us know how this works for you!
