The African American Parent Coaltion is a collection of concerned parents "committed to the academic success of African American students in the East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD)." The coaltion is very much involved with the happenings of the ESUHSD, making an impact on both the students and the administration. The organization started with the mission of ensuring the district delivers quality education to ALL students.

Goals:
Providing equal access for all
Fostering self-esteem
Including historical contributions made by African Americans in all curriculum
Promoting cultural awareness and pride
Preparing students for a 4-year college

Services:
A support system for the Black Student Unions at various East Side High Schools
Sponsor Student Success Forums
Co-sponser SAT Workshops
