
The Aki Matsuri: Japanese Festival Bazaar is an annual Wesley United Methodist Church fundraiser that began in 1932. This festival offers a variety of Japanese food, cultural activities and crafts. The food offered includes sushi, chicken and beef teriyaki, manju, yakisoba, corn, udon, pasteries, and chicken salad. There will also be plants, flowers and produce available, as well as crafts including Japanese-style aprons, cookbooks and Christmas ornaments. Entertainment includes taiko (Japanese drumming), Japanese dance and martial arts. There will also be children's craft activities and games offered.
