The San Jose Japantown Winter Boutique is an annual event to
benefit the Japanese American Resource Center/Museum. A number of artisans
take part in this fundraiser, offering a wide variety of Asian influenced
handcrafts just in time for Christmas. The crafts vary from pottery to
jewelry, to Asian American designed T-shirts. There is also a raffle
drawing with prizes donated by local merchants, including televisions and
cash prizes. The benefits from this event go toward the Japanese American
Resource/Museum's efforts to expand awareness of the Japanese American
Community in the Santa Clara Valley.
