Flight Community Services is a newly established non-profit organization dedicated to providing culturally oriented activities and social programs to promote community unity and increase the well-being of African American youth and families.
It provides youth with a opportunity to work on all aspects of producing a newspaper, such as operations management, business and marketing skills. Flight Community Services has been successful in creating CITY Flight publication as a means of providing information to the South Bay.
The organization also succeeded in providing positive events by writing and producing two plays dealing with the issues present in the African American community, specifically the AIDS epidemic and "institution of mental slavery".
