The mission of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce is to promote the needs of business owners and professionals and to advance the commercial, financial and civic interests of the Indo-American community. The purpose of the ICC is also to increase the participation of the Indo-American community in mainstream America.

The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce invites members of the Indo-American community to join their fellow business and professional people in supporting the economic development of the Indo-American community and take advantage of the many benefits available to them through their investment in the ICC.

For the first time in the history of the Indo-American community in Northern California there is a forum which voices the commercial and professional interests of the community at the local, state and national level.

How the Chamber is Working for the Indo-American community:
Community Involvement: The voice of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce members will count in the future directions of the Indo-American community.
Public Relations: The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce strives to help improve the presence of Indo-Americans in the mainstream business and community activities.
Resource and Learning Center: Members have access to information and programs by various groups (including government agencies) to start or improve their businesses.
Legislative Affairs: Members will be able keep informed on and provide imput into, legislations that effect Indo-American businesses.
Network and Marketing: Members will be able to develop new business contacts. Membership lists will be available to members.
Technology Exchange: Members will be able to participate in providing a focus for exchanging information between Northern California and the world.
Promotion of NRI Issues: Members will be able to help lobby for the interests of the NRIs in India.

Above all, the ICC provides the opportunity to interact with other professionals and business people of the community.

Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Activities include:
Business After Hours Mixers:activities which provide an excellent opportunity to network with other ICC members. Bring your business cards and literature to share.
Business Education Seminars:provides ongoing seminar presentations and panel discussions on topics and aspects of business ownership and enterprise.
Resource Bank:this resource is manned by member volunteers with specific business expertise who give limited amounts of time to assist other members who need specific expert assistance concerning their own business.
Annual Awards Banquet:a forum to salute the success and contributions of the Indo-American community business owners and professionals.
