ACS Certified B.S. Degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry Emphasis

The American Chemical Society certifies Bachelor's degree programs that meet stringent requirements for lecture and laboratory content. This certification is widely recognized in graduate schools and industry. For students especially interested in biochemistry, a modified set of requirements has been approved by the ACS. All of the B.S. degree programs make it possible to use the first quarter of the senior year to study abroad. Click here for a sample schedule. Note that Chem 141 and 143 can be used in partial satisfaction of the requirements for a biotechnology minor.
