Chemistry REU Program 2006
Research Experience for Undergraduates
The chemistry department at Santa Clara University invites applications
for an exciting summer undergraduate research experience in the heart
of Silicon Valley. During the ten weeks from June 21 through August
25, 2006, students will work closely with faculty mentors on research
projects spanning a wide range of topics from biochemistry to physical
chemistry. In addition to chemistry research, REU students will participate
in a Scientific Ethics Program run in collaboration with SCU's Markkula
Center for Applied Ethics. A stipend of $4000 will be provided,
in addition to housing in a campus residence hall. Come join us in Santa
Clara for a unique and stimulating summer of research!
- Open to current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are US citizens
or permanent residents
