Welcome to the School of Education, Counseling Psychology, and Pastoral Ministries The mission of Santa Clara University's School of Education, Counseling Psychology, and Pastoral Ministries is to educate Bay Area practitioners in education, counseling psychology, pastoral ministries and other health and human services professions. They excel, providing service to students, clients, and communities with high levels of competence, conscience and compassion in professional settings. Created in the Fall of 2001 with Gerdenio M. Manuel, SJ as the first Dean, the School combined three vibrant graduate programs in Counseling Psychology, Education, and Pastoral Ministries.
