Academic Advisors
Department of EducationAfter being admitted to a degree or credential program, students are strongly urgedto seek the guidance of his or her academic advisor. It is the advisor’s task to inform the student of his or her program requirements and to encourage prudent sequencing of courses. Department of Counseling PsychologyAfter applicants have been admitted to degree status and have submitted a confirmationof intent to enroll, they are assigned to a temporary advisor to help sequence their early classes. After students have been in the program for at least one term, they are free to select any full-time, on-campus faculty member as their academic advisor. If students are in an emphasis program, they are initially assigned to the emphasis coordinator. Graduate Program in Pastoral MinistriesAll students enrolled in the Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries are assignedan advisor. Students are asked to meet with the advisor prior to each quarter to discuss progress and future courses. |
