Visit Northern California

San Francisco (one hour), Santa Cruz (45 minutes), Monterey Bay (1 hour), Oakland/Berkeley (50 minutes), the renowned Napa Valley wine region (2 hours), Sacramento (2 hours), South Lake Tahoe (3.5 hours), and Yosemite National Park (4 hours). There's also plenty to enjoy right here in the local area.

Local Attractions

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, founded in 1956 as an affordable, sustainable, conservation-centered outdoor adventure for families with children.

The San Jose Flea Market, founded in 1960 and is the largest outdoor flea market in the US with over 120 acres of "treasure".

The Winchester Mystery House is one of the biggest mysteries in history.  It was built by the family that invented the Winchester shot gun and believed to be haunted.  Cost over $5.5 Million dollars to construct and currently has 160 rooms with staircases that lead to nowhere.  Visit if you dare!

California's Great America is Northern CA's biggest and greatest amusement park located only 5 miles from campus.  A must see and do among many SCU students.

The Tech Museum of Innovation is a hands on and incredible place that makes science come alive for all ages.  Very fun and located in the heart of Silicon Valley.
