Tutoring - Appointment-only

Drahmann Advising Center

Appointment-Only Tutoring

Students can request an individual tutor for any lower-division course at Santa Clara University.  The challenge, however, is that while we do our best, we cannot provide tutors for every request.

To request a tutor, you must submit a Request Form available below along with one complete copy of the syllabus for the class in which you are requesting assistance.  Request forms are accepted from the second week of classes until the end of the sixth week of each quarter in the Drahmann Tutoring Center, Casa 1.

Students are placed with tutors on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You can download a Request Form below or pick one up in the Drahmann Tutoring Center in Casa 1. All completed requests and syllabus copies must be turned into Casa 1 also.  Please read the top page of the Request Form carefully before filling out the request.

We will contact you when a tutor becomes available and your tutor will contact you within three business days.  We will send you an email one week after receiving your request to update you on your status.   Due to the high demand and limited number of tutors, we cannot guarantee tutors for every student. We are also unable to fill upper-division tutor requests.

If at any time you do not need tutoring, please notify us in Casa 1 immediately so that we can place your tutor with another student.
