Bronco Idol, as a part of Spirit Week, brings to the stage creative undergraduate student singers, passionate alumni judges, and the timeless verses of the SCU Fight Song, "Fight for Santa Clara." What transpires is nothing short of... amazing, energetic, and a great example of Santa Clara school spirit!
The third annual Bronco Idol took the campus by storm in early 2013. In front of a record crowd of more than 100 students, eight spirited and passionate performing acts took to the stage. Like past years, Bronco Idol encouraged students to creatively perform the fight song in an attempt to take home the grand prize of $500.
Contestants included men's basketball senior Raymond Cowels III, the SCU Dance team, the SCU Cheer team, members of the SCU Gospel Choir, a group representing Associated Student Government, and more.
