Lisa (Duncan) Guglielmelli '06 married her high school classmate, Dustin Guglielmelli, in June 2010. The wedding took place in Livermore, CA and they now make their home in Dublin, CA. The bride was walked down the aisle by her father, Phillp C. Duncan '82 and her sister Stacey M. Duncan '01 was her bridesmaid. There were also SCU friends in attendance.

Jack Gillum '06 has been named a campaign finance and investigative reporter for the Associated Press. He will be covering the role of money in the upcoming 2012 election cycle at a time when court rulings have radically changed how outside groups can influence elections. Prior to joining AP's Washington bureau, Gillum was an editor with USA Today and, before that, with the Arizona Daily Star. His notable work includes uncovering testing irregularities in big-city schools and the growing role of government subsidies in college sports programs.

Christina L. Flynn '06 is joining the Utah Shakespeare Festival Educational tour for the first time. She is one of the members of the acting company for USF's 2012 tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Originally from San Diego, she received her B.A in theatre arts from Santa Clara University and her M.F.A in acting from Wayne State University. Flynn also studied at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia.

Enrique Flores ’01, M.A. '06, through his nonprofit East Side Heroes, coordinated Unity Day II in East San Jose, in March. The event strives to promote peace amid gang-troubled communities by encouraging gang members and former member—and those whose lives have been touched by the violent feuds—to bring in gang paraphernalia in exchange for gift cards and to participate in a march through residential streets to promote peace.

Marisa Randazzo '06 has married Quintin Fillmon of Santa Rosa, CA, in Los Angeles on August 15, 2009. Along with Marisa's brother, Bubba Randazzo '98 and his wife Amy Randazzo '98, Francesca Koscielak '06, Carly Bird-Vogel '06, Ellie Meneffee '06 and Angela Saldivar '06 were all in the wedding party. Marisa currently works as a buyer at the Univerisity of Southern California and Quinn, a UCLA grad, works for a sales company in Los Angeles. After their wedding, Quinn and Marisa honeymooned in Europe and currently reside in Santa Monica. On July 20, 2010, Brandon "Bubba" Randazzo '98 and Amy Puccetti Randazzo '98 had a baby girl named Addison Marie (pictured on right). Addie joins her older brother Jake, (6 years), and sis Sofia (1 1/2 years). Six days later on July 26th, Bubba's younger sister, Marisa Randazzo Fillmon '06 and her husband Quinn, gave birth to their first baby girl, Gianna Margaret Grace (pictured on left). Both cousins are doing great and are sure to be future Broncos!!

Marisa Randazzo Fillmon ’06 and her husband, Quinn, gave birth to their daughter, Ava Patricia Grace, on Jan. 6, 2012. Ava joins her big sis, Gianna (18 months). The Fillmon family resides in Long Beach, Calif.

Christina Fialho ’06, J.D. ’12 and her colleague Christina Mansfield were named 2012 Echoing Green Fellows for Social Change. Echoing Green provides more than $2 million in seed support social entrepreneurs from around the world every year.

The pair will launch a new project -- Community Initiatives for Visiting Immigrants in Confinement (CIVIC) -- with support from Echoing Green for the first two years. CIVIC is a national network of immigration detention visitation groups, with a mission to end the isolation and abuse of persons in immigration detention by building and strengthening community visitation programs across the U.S. They will provide support to current visitation groups, resources and training to new groups, and a communication platform for all visitation groups.

Fialho, a social activist for immigrant rights and the daughter of an immigrant, has assisted in defending immigrants from detention and deportation before the U.S. Immigration Courts and has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She currently serves on the steering committee of the Detention Watch Network, and her scholarly publications focus on the intersection of immigration law, constitutional law, and international human rights. Prior to starting CIVIC, she co-founded the first immigration detention visitation program in California.

Dan Erwin '06 Is graduating in June 2011 with a Masters degree in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago. After graduating from SCU in '06, he moved to Rome, Italy to work for Loyola's Rome Center. Prior to beginning graduate school, Dan worked as a legislative aide at the City of San Jose in Councilmember Forrest Williams' office.

Jonathan M. Edwards ’06, former member of the SCU golf team, and wife Jordan welcomed a baby boy, Jonathan Newton Edwards, on Dec. 29, 2011. He was 6 pounds, 15 ounces. They reside in Weiser, Idaho.

Elia DeLuca '02, J.D. '06 has been appointed to Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton's LLP Labor and Employment practice group. The practice focuses on traditional labor and employment issues in a variety of industries, including trucking, airlines transportation, technology, entertainment, environmental, recycling and solid waste services. The firm also specializes in representing clients in union negotiations, organizing campaigns and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

After graduating with her bachelor's degree, Jen Darling '06, M.A. '08 taught 4th grade in East Side San Jose for a year and realized that teaching was not her true calling. She went on to receive her Teaching Credential and Masters in Education with an emphasis in Correctional Psychology & Alternative Education from Santa Clara University and now works happily back at SCU as a fundraiser.

Amparo Cid '06 worked for a local non-profit after graduating from SCU. Recently, she graduated from UC Davis School of Law and was awarded the Lorenzo Patiiño Memorial Award.

Peter Castle J.D. ’06 joined Peak Vista Community Health Centers as manager of business development and partnerships. Castle is the former programs director for the Colorado Business Group on Health. He has been in the nonprofit field for more than six years and is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Santa Clara University School of Law, and the Coro Center for Civic Leadership.

Tori (Markey) ’06 and Aaron Cardenas were married on June 23, 2012, at Bava Ranch in Hughson, Calif. The wedding party included SCU alumni Eric Cardenas '92, Jamie Weaver '06, Laurie Sherry '06, Erin Hurley '05, Jessica King Klem '05 and Cadi Imbs Olsen '06.
