Their stories of courage, strength, creativity, and growth remind us that venturing abroad is not a step back but a large step forward in our career, academic, and life pursuits. Bochsler writes, "Whether you've spent long stints abroad or never before, this book is sure to enliven a multinational spirit within you, knock down those barriers holding you back from booking your next ticket, and have you wondering why it took this long. A new language, experience, broadened perspective, and skill set is waiting. You will be better for it. The world will be better for it."
