Kristi Nevarez  ’91, J.D. ’96 has been named a Partner at Fragomen Worldwide, which is recognized as the world's leading global corporate immigration services provider. For over 17 years, she has advised clients in matters of corporate business immigration. She has also served as the Congressional Assistant and Immigration Policy Advisor to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Ranking Member of the House Immigration Subcommittee.

Nash, Steve

Steve Nash '96 has retired from professional basketball after 18 years. The former Los Angeles Lakers point guard had led the Santa Clara Broncos to 3 NCAA tournament appearances in his four seasons there. The elusive, crafty guard was able to win the West Coast Conference player of the year award twice and rewrote the history books as the school’s all time leader in assists. Nash also played for the Phoenix Suns and was voted as the 9th greatest NBA point guard of all time and was able to shoot 50% from the field, 40% from 3 point land and 90% from the free throw line in 4 different seasons.

Eric Monsef ’90, M.S. ’96 led the group responsible for bringing to market HP Sprout, which was awarded Best Desktop PC at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, by PC Mag. The HP Sprout is an immersive workstation that combines a fully loaded TouchSmart all-in-one PC with a combination projector and scanner, plus cameras. Monsef is an engineering management adjunct professor and VP of Immersive Systems at HP.

Tina continues fundraising for her daughter's local public school, and recently joined the board of directors of the Skylar Hadden Foundation to ensure program funding for her son's school program for children with Asperger's and ADHD. Tina is also serving on the Grand Reunion Committee for her class of 1990.

Dale Kim is the director of industry solutions at MapR. His background includes a variety of technical and management roles at information technology companies. While his experience includes work with relational databases, much of his career pertains to non-relational data in the areas of search, content management, and NoSQL, and includes senior roles in technical marketing, sales engineering, and support engineering. Dale holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Seasoned IP executive Michele Moreland ’89, J.D. ’98 has been appointed to oversee SITO Mobile's IP strategy. The company is a leading mobile engagement platform provider. Prior to joining SITO Mobile, Michele was the director of acquisitions for RPX Corporation where she oversaw the assessment, valuation, acquisition and licensing of patents against clients. Prior to RPX Corporation Ms. Moreland worked as a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery and as an Associate at Cooley Godward LLP focused solely on patent litigation.

Henninger, Ragan

Ragan Henninger ’98 has been appointed senior policy advisor in the office of San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo. Ragan joined Sam’s council office in 2007, first as a council assistant, then spent five years as chief of staff. Her policy expertise includes environment, housing, budget and economic development, including work on the citywide inclusionary housing policy, plastic bag ban, and downtown high-rise incentive. She later left service with the city to manage Sam’s successful mayoral campaign in 2014. She previously worked for HomeFirst (formerly EHC LifeBuilders) as the director of Development and Communications where she was responsible for raising over $12 million annually.

Ragan currently serves on the board of Legacy Alviso San José Youth Foundation and is responsible for the foundation’s charitable distributions. Ragan and her husband live in the Cambrian neighborhood of San José, where they are raising their daughter.

David Fisher MBA '98 is now vice president and business transformation officer at SRA International, Inc., a leading provider of IT solutions and professional services to government organizations.

Mr. Fisher will lead a business transformation program to drive continuous process improvement and operational optimization efforts in support of SRA’s strategic plan. As BTO, he will help SRA continue to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of internal business processes, enhancing the focus on providing customers with the best people, ideas and performance.
“We are pleased to welcome David to the SRA team,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Tim Atkin. “David’s thought leadership and extensive operational experience in the public and private sectors will strengthen how we support our employees and our customers.  He will provide SRA, and our customers, with strategies and practices that will enable us to consistently meet the dynamic needs of the federal government market in order to achieve exceptional operational performance.”  
 
Mr. Fisher has held a number of senior roles within the public and private sectors, most recently as Chief Risk Officer and Senior Advisor to the Commissioner at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Prior to joining the IRS, he served as Chief Administrative Officer/Chief Financial Officer at the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Before holding his role at the GAO, David held a number of positions with the Department of Defense (DoD), including serving as the first permanent director of the Business Transformation Agency, Defense Enterprise Integration Executive, and Special Assistant to the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Financial Management). Prior to joining DoD, David served as Managing Director with BearingPoint.
 
Mr. Fisher graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. He completed his Masters of Business Administration at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. He is also the author of Optimize Now (or else!): How to Leverage Processes and Information to Achieve Enterprise Optimization and Avoid Enterprise Extinction.
