Clos Du Val Winery appointed industry veteran Steve Tamburelli MBA ’87 as president, overseeing all operations for the winery located in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District.
A Napa Valley native, Tamburelli joined Stags Leap Wine Cellars as chief operating officer in 1998, spent 11 years as general manager at Chappellet, and recently held the role of chief operating officer at Flora Springs Winery.
The Board of Directors of The Goldman Sachs Group announced the appointment of Peter Oppenheimer MBA ’87 as an independent director of the firm, effective immediately. Oppenheimer will be a member of each of the firm’s Audit, Risk, Compensation and Corporate Governance, Nominating and Public Responsibilities committees.
Ralph Hayden MBA ’87 just took on a new role as director, OEM Support Programs, at Fusionio, a division of the SanDisk company.
Mike Arnold ’86 will soon celebrate his 28th year with State Farm Insurance, where he is VP of Operations–Property and Casualty Claims. He and his wife, Valerie Bettencourt Arnold ’87, have been married for 27 years and live in Bloomington, Ill. They have two daughters. Their youngest is a junior in high school while their oldest has returned to the Bay Area and is working full-time in Pleasanton upon graduating from college from North Carolina State University.
Lisa Agrimonti ’87 married her partner of eight years, Verlynn Pinkney, on December 7, 2013 in Minn. Lisa is a shareholder and energy law attorney with the law firm of Briggs and Morgan, P.A. in Minneapolis. Verlynn is a retired retail executive.
