Galen Smith ’07 and Jeffrey Young ’07 were wed on Aug. 26, 2011, in Seattle, Wash. The wedding party included maid of honor Claire Smith ’11, bridesmaids Mary Swift ’07 and Gabriela Flowers ’07, and groomsman Michael Pellicio ’07. Other Broncos in attendance included Robert Rose '86, Philip Johnson ’04, Matthew Meyerhofer ’06, Scott Clark ’07, Amy Potter ’07, Christina Vaninetti ’07, and Jonathan Wahl ’07. The couple currently lives in Washington, D.C.
Marc Wilson ’06 and Megan Feldmar ’07 were married on August 14th, 2010 in Huntington Beach, Calif. Alumni in the bridal party were: Christina Vicencia ’07, Brooke Hennon ’07, Medley Jane Crank ’07 and Sean Flaherty ’07. Other SCU Alumni in attendance were: Adam Olsen ’07, Tony Castellanos ’05, Mike Speciale ’06, Josh Kolb ’05, Michael Vincent ’06, Kristin Anderson ’06, Julie Screbant ’07, Jill Piermattei ’07, Kevin Cherrstrom ’07, Mira Atkinson ’07, Dan Jacinto ’06, Jessica Travis ’07, Kevin Holmes MBA ’10 and Kasey Howe ’06. Megan and Marc currently reside in Huntington Beach, CA where Marc is a technical sales consultant and Megan works in internal audit for a retail corporation.
Mark Weinswig MBA '07 was appointed chief financial officer at EMCORE Corporation, a leading provider of compound semiconductor-based components and subsystems for the fiber optic and solar power markets. Weinswig will be responsible for the company's finance and accounting functions. Prior to joining EMCORE, Weinswig held various leadership positions as Controller, Executive VP of Business Development, and Interim CFO with technology companies including Coherent, Inc. and Avanex Corporation (now Oclaro, Inc.). He previously was at Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equity Research Group, where he covered the telecommunications equipment industry, and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an auditor. Weinswig received an MBA from Santa Clara and a BS in business administration from Indiana University. He has earned the CFA and CPA designations.
Kelsey Waples '07 is currently finishing up her last year of school at Pepperdine Law and was recently published in the Law Review (Volume 40, Issue 1).

Hilary A. Tone '07 graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master's of Public Diplomacy in May 2009. After relocating to Tucson, Ariz. over the summer, she now works as the communications coordinator for a nonprofit human rights organization called Border Action Network.

Gabriela Tchaga '07 married Paul Garces on August 20th, 2011. The wedding was held at Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin, CA. Bridesmaids include Carolyn Gregory '07 and Nina Stellini '07. Other Broncos in attendance include Christy Trombly '07, Brittany Glattly '07, Summer McCormick '08, Jessica Lindsley '08, Marilena Mahan '08, and Josh Higggins '07.

SoHee Shin, RSCJ, MTS ’07 writes: “After I returned to Seoul from the Philippines, I have been invited to give retreats and workshops on spiritual direction or discernment for other orders. From time to time, I notice that their needs are shaping my life, which is consonant with my own vision/desire. I decided to do a doctoral program in Religious Studies (Area: Christian Spirituality) at Sogang University (Jesuit University in Seoul) starting in March, 2012. I continue to give retreats and workshops during school breaks.”
Laurel Sevier J.D. '07 has been appointed a co-chair of the Women Lawyers Committee of the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA). Associates in the firm’s Family Law Practice, Sevier’s appointment is effective immediately and runs through 2011. The Women Lawyers Committee is charged with studying issues and developing projects relating to women in the legal profession, as well as initiating several community service projects each year.
James Servino '07, Lauren Clyne '07, and Joshua Crosson '06 are all living in Washington, DC, and working for Lesbian, Gay, Bi, and Transgender Equality at the Human Rights Campaign.
Ashley Schweickart '07 and Kyle Stephenson '07 were married on April 23, 2011 at Palmdale Estates in Fremont, Calif. In attendance were fellow SCU alums Danielle Granieri '07, Sara Forrester '07, Seena Kallingal '07, Patrick Rugo '07, Matthew Cherry '07, Daniel Chance '07, and Reinhard Cate '07.
Boaz Ronkin MBA ’07 joined Ensighten, a Tag Management System provider, as senior director of product marketing. He brings in extensive background in marketing optimization, personalization, and web analytics.
Landon Reese '08 and Jacinth Meskers '07 were wed on May 22, 2010. The couple was married at her parents house in Aurora, Oregon. The wedding party included James Bickford '08, Ryan Shulz '08, Nick Leong '08, and Alix Bogehold '07. The couple resides in Boise, Idaho.
Landon Reese '08 and Jacinth (Meskers) Reese '07 announce the birth of their first baby girl, Kamari Sanne Reese, born on May 31, 2011. The family lives in Boise, Idaho.
Stacey Thiell '07 married Ian Ramskov on August 8, 2010 at the Mission Church.

Anita L. Ellias '06 married Trevin J. Phillips '06 in Somis, CA on July 24, 2010. Toby Hardman '06, Broderick Smith '06, Vince Castro '06, Jennifer Gottschalk '08, Katrina Welch '06, Michelle Rhoney '06, and Diane Snodgrass '06 were all in the wedding party. Other Broncos in attendance: Melissa Diamond '06, Holly (Honnen) Smith '06, Christina Alexander '06, Alex Tosti '08, Michael Haro '05, Greg Berber '05, Vinnie DiCarlo '05, Ryan Kunkle '05, and Spencer Rand '05. Anita currently works as a United States History teacher at Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles, Calif., and Trevin works as a whole sale insurance broker in Los Angeles, Calif.
Teddy Patty J.D. ’07 and Kalila (Spain) Patty J.D. ’07 - a beautiful girl, Nailah Sarai on March 18, 2012. Nailah joins sister Arielle, 3. The family resides in San Jose.
Elizabeth Sandoval ’07 and Joewel Pascual on Dec. 17, 2011, at the Santa Clara Mission. The ceremony was presided by Father Matthew Carnes, S.J. Broncos in attendance were: Maria Sandoval ’98, Anna Carroll ’07, Kerry Vann ’07, Greg Phipps ’07, Omid Faghiri ’07, Ira Movshovich ’08, Virginia Suarez ’08, and Sara Garcia ’10. Liz works for XOOM Corporation in San Francisco, and Joewel is pursuing his doctorate in physical therapy. The couple resides in Newark, Calif.
