Boaz Ronkin MBA ’07 joined Ensighten, a Tag Management System provider, as senior director of product marketing. He brings in extensive background in marketing optimization, personalization, and web analytics.
Megan O'Connor Mershon ’07 writes, "On May 27th, 2012 Zach Mershon ’07 and I got married."
Julie Juarez ’07 has been named manager of social media and communications at USA Hockey, where's she'll be the primary contact for the U.S. Women's National Team Program and also oversee USA Hockey's social media efforts. Juarez served as a media relations assistant for the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks during the 2011–12 season. She also worked with the Sharks during the 2006–07 campaign as a media relations intern. She worked in SCU's athletic media relations department 2009–11. Juarez played NCAA Division I soccer at Santa Clara. She was the starting goalkeeper 2003–06 and earned All-America honors while helping the Broncos to the 2004 NCAA Women's College Cup.
Mercedes Lourdes Jalaan '07 and Edward-Elex Cary Arteche '05 were married on Aug. 4, 2012, at the Mission Church.
Brady Harter ’07 married Francesca Budelli at Mission Santa Clara on June 30. Members of the wedding party included alums: Colin Harter ’04, Darren Harter ’11, Mark Litchman ’07, Thomas Knowles ’07, Daniel Soares ’07, Laura Hater ’04, Nicole Mendez ’07, and Elizabeth Weeker ’07. Dennis Harter '73 and Ann Harter ’73 are parents of the groom, and Robert Franceschini ’52 is the grandfather of the bride.
Nicholas Farguson ’07 married Rebecca Heath ’09 on August 25, 2012, at the Mission Church.
Emiko Burchill J.D. ’07 was appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown ’59 as special assistant for policy at the California Natural Resources Agency. Burchill was a contract attorney at Olson Hagel and Fishburn LLP in 2012. She was an executive fellow at the California Fair Political Practices Commission from 2011 to 2012 and was an intern at the office of Assemblymember Toni Atkins in 2011. Burchill was a volunteer attorney at My Sister's House from 2010 to 2011 and an attorney at the law offices of McDowall Cotter from 2007 to 2009.
