Thomas Tatum '13 has joined the firm White Oak Global Advisors as senior analyst of Originations. Tatum is responsible for supporting the originations team with preliminary diligence and analysis. Prior to joining White Oak, Tatum served as an analyst at Medley Management Inc., focusing on portfolio servicing and underwriting. Tatum began his career as an analyst at Balyasny Asset Management, responsible for idea generation and fundamental research. White Oak Global Advisors, LLC, is an SEC-registered investment adviser that directly originates private debt financings to middle market companies to support growth initiatives. White Oak’s product suite includes asset-based secured term loans, cash flow based term loans, unitranche facilities, rescue and debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, in/out of court restructurings, acquisition and capital expenditure facilities and other structured finance instruments. With more than $1.8 billion of invested and committed capital*, White Oak has made 87 direct debt investments in companies with enterprise values between $50 million and $1 billion across a diverse range of industries and sectors. White Oak is headquartered in San Francisco, with additional offices in New York, Denver and Atlanta.

Chloe (Wilson) Sommers '13 married Ron Sommers III (Boston College '13) on July 19, 2015, in Snohomish, Washington. The two met while serving as Jesuit Volunteers in Omak, Washington, after college. Ron and Chloe currently reside in Chicago, where Ron attends the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. Chloe currently studies at Loyola University Chicago School of Law as a recipient of the Civitas ChildLaw Fellowship. Both will graduate in 2018.
