Welcome Home Broncos
We would like to introduce our new San Francisco Chapter Co-Presidents, Patrick McDermott '10 and Spencer Jenkins '11. Patrick studied Finance and History while at Santa Clara. Since graduating, Patrick has worked for NetApp Inc. in Finance and most recently in Corporate Strategy. Patrick enjoys running, hiking, spending time in Tahoe, and enjoying time with family and friends. He is ready to get started as the new Co-President with Spencer Jenkins, and looks forward to meeting all of San Francisco's Broncos.
A native of Colorado, Spencer studied communication and political science while at Santa Clara where he was a captain of the lacrosse team and member of APB. He currently manages PR and communications for Australian tech startup, Nitro, a document collaboration company. In his free time, Spencer enjoys travelling, playing lacrosse for the Olympic Club, golfing, and skiing.

SANTA CLARA VALLEY - Community Day of Service
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Join together with the entire SCU community including students, faculty, staff and alumni for our Day of Service. Volunteers have four projects to choose from and all are invited back to campus for a thank you luncheon.
Alma Community Center - volunteers will assist with facility maintanence including painting, varnishing and garden clean up. (We will be working outside unless it is raining and then we'll focus on projects inside.)
Washington School - volunteers are needed to assist students struggling with reading achieve their weekly goals through group reading activities directed by the principal, Maria Arias Evans '81.
Sacred Heart Community Service - THIS PROJECT is FULL. Volunteers will sort and pack food for those in need. This project is for volunteers 14 years and older.
The Forge, SCU's Organic Garden - THIS PROJECT is FULL. Volunteers will join together for planting, harvesting, composting, weeding, and mulching.This project welcomes families to help in various areas of the garden.
