An Amazing Upset
bronco legends
The year 1993 was an exciting one for the SCU men's basketball team. First, they beat the first place Pepperdine Waves in the WCC Tournament. Then, the 15th seed Broncos met the No. 2 Arizona Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament resulting in one of the biggest upsets in tournament history. Read more about their historic upset on our website.
Join us at this year's Pasta Feed and Bronco Legends Night on Saturday, February 16, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of this amazing season and honor the team that made it happen.

In the works for several years now, the proposal is an exciting opportunity for the Society of Jesus and its efforts to influence higher education worldwide. Read more »

energy challenge 2.0
The fourth annual Energy Challenge is kicking off in February and this year there will be a social media twist. For the first time, SCU students can keep track of energy use on a public dashboard with real-time data as part of the largest nationwide electricity and water reduction competition on college campuses, the Campus Conservation Nationals. Not only can they see how much energy SCU is using, but also monitor other schools. Read more »

ignatian center: a bridge among faiths
Despite America’s reputation as a melting pot of races and creeds, unease and confusion still seem to be the predominant state of interfaith relations in this country. In an attempt to bridge that gap and promote interreligious respect and understanding, the Ignatian Center is holding a series of a dozen lectures exploring the public significance of sacred texts from diverse contexts and faith traditions.
