Alum Appointed to Board of Goldman Sachs

Peter Oppenheimer MBA '87, was recently appointed to the board of investment banking firm Goldman Sachs. Currently CFO and Senior Vice President of Apple, he recently announced his retirement effective in September.

Linda Starr, legal director for the Northern California Innocence Project, published an op-ed in the Daily Journal, arguing that, given the recent spate of wrongful-incarceration exonerations, we need to do more to prevent wrongful convictions.

Communications Professor Mike Whalen was featured in the San Jose Mercury News and the SF Chronicle for his new documentary film The Farmer and the Chef, debuting at Cinequest and highlighted in Time Out magazine as one of the best new food documentaries.
