From Sacramento Chapter President Greg Finn '79, MBA '88 June 9, 2005 I want to thank everyone who attended the day of service on Saturday. I especially want to thank Stu Fretz who spent the entire day - without stop -spraying and to Joe Piazza, an alum who owns a new business in Elk Grove called California Chill, a frozen custard store. Joe volunteered to supply his product to us. Unfortunately, we were too full from the Tongan barbeque that a local family set up for us. But Joe's new business is on Bruceville Rd. in Elk Grove. On a serious note: St Anne's is fighting for its existence with the diocese. That is why the school and parents were so grateful for our help. The first suggestion the diocese had was to spruce up the appearance of the school, so our timing was perfect. The school bought all the paint - $1,100. I am asking that if you can help contribute to the cost of their paint, it would be wonderful. So, even if you couldn't come out on Saturday, but would like to help, please make a check out to St. Anne's School (it's deductible!!!!) for any amount possible.
