Celebrating 130th Years of Passionate Alumni

Early Bronco Lettermen

Early in Santa Clara University's history, students recognized the unique and exceptional atmosphere the school fostered, not only in its physical beauty, but also with its sense of camaraderie that encourages life-long relationships. It was in this setting on April 27, 1881 that a small group of students gathered to form the Santa Clara University Alumni Association and draft its constitution.

2011 marks the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association, one of the oldest institutions of its kind west of the Mississippi. Remaining faithful to the values which inspired its founding, the Association continues to build and strengthen the relationship between the University and its alumni. It strives to keep all Santa Clara alumni passionate about their experience and proud of their education by nurturing personal connections with the University and each other.
