Other Awards
The SCU Alumni Association recognizes alumni of noteworthy athletic achievement whose activities since Santa Clara which are consistent with purpose and values of the University.

Alumni Association Board of Directors Student Service Award
In 2009, the Santa Clara University Alumni Association Board of Directors established a special award to provide financial support to a graduating senior who are going directly into a service program or project for at least a year after graduation. Students who design and participate in their own community-based learning experience are also eligible for the Alumni Association Board of Directors Service Award.

The Louis and Dorina Brutocao Award for Teaching Excellence was established by the family to honor special Santa Clara teachers. The Brutocao Award for Teaching Excellence is not an alumni award; however, Alumni are encouraged to nominate former professors. Nominating Criteria and more information are available at the Provost's Web site.
