Alumni Audit ProgramThe University and Alumni Association established a tuition remission program in 1975 for the benefit of interested alumni. The purpose of this service is to provide graduates the opportunity to audit undergraduate courses. The requirements for utilizing this service are as follows: 1. Only one course per quarter may be taken through this program. (Additional courses for regular University audit are available through the Registrar's Office.) 2. The course taken will not be noted by the professor or Registrar's Office as having been an officially audited course. 3. Eligibility to use the program will be established by the Alumni Office. One must be an alumnus/a of the University. If you are (or are about to be) a recent graduate, your class must have completed commencement before you are eligible to utilize the program. You must go into the Alumni Office where your alumni status will be confirmed and an audit form will be prepared for you. 4. After obtaining the prepared audit form from the Alumni Office, the eligible alumnus/a must receive permission from the professor of the course to audit such course on a space-available basis. 5. After the professor has agreed to accept the alumnus/a as an audit student and signed the audit form, the alumus/a must returned the signed form with his/her $25.00 payment to the Alumni Association for the utilization of this service. 6. Interested alumni may enter this program between the last day of late registration and the ensuing 7 days of each quarter. 7. If you will be using the library you will need to bring your alumni card and a copy of your audit form to the University Librarian's office where they will issue you a temporary library card to be used during the audited academic quarter. |
