Osher Lifelong Learning Opportunities for Alumni
Now that you’ve had time to look back on the good old days as an undergraduate at Santa Clara, do you wish that you’d been able to take classes just for fun, because you’d heard about how good a certain instructor was, or just because you were fascinated with the topic but did not have the time to pursue it? You can return to Santa Clara and enroll in a variety of non-credit courses with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), a program for people age 50 and better. There are no exams and no papers, but there is a challenge to bring your life experiences back to the classroom and to take part in the fun of learning. Check out the program by going to the OLLI website at www.scu.edu/osher. You’ll find Santa Clara professors from many departments offering courses that you can fit into your busy schedule. Contact the Osher office at 408-554-2382 or e-mail: olli@scu.edu to find out more about OLLI and become eligible to take advantage of the many benefits of membership. |
