Giving to SCU

There are many ways to give back to your alma matter. A number of alumni give back by volunteering their time as chapter leaders, board of directors members,  or Alumni for Others volunteers. Some donate their business services. Others help to recruit new SCU students or host a reception for SCU incoming students. You can also help out SCU by making a monetary donation.

Did you know that 71% of current SCU students receive some some form of financial aid? As tuition and room and board continues to increase, SCU students are increasingly reliant on alumni and friends' support of the University. In the 2005-2006 school year, undergraduate expenses were $28,899 for tuition and fees and $10,032 for room and board.

Santa Clara is currently in the middle of its largest capital campaign ever. Its goal is to raise $350 million. A second important goal is to have 75 percent of our alumni make gifts during the campaign period. The Campaign for Santa Clara ends in December 2006. Please consider making a gift and becoming part of its success.

You can make a gift online at the secure online giving site. You may designate an academic department, athletic program, a class or other scholarship, or the Santa Clara Fund which goes to the University's greatest need.

Many companies offer matching gift programs to their employees. Search the matching gift page to see if your company is on the list. You may be interested in planned giving such as a charitable remainder trust or a bequest.
