During the summer months, the Alumni Association generally plans very few events. Please travel safely during this vacation season and we look forward to your involvement in an alumni event or activity in the Fall.  Please check our Alumni Events Calendar for event in your area starting in late August.

A FEW EXCEPTIONS!  SAVE THE DATES:

• New Student Receptions : A wonderful way to connect with the class of 2012 from your area.  Receptions are held at alumni houses in regional areas.  Check the Alumni Event Calendar for the reception in your area.
• Vintage Santa Clara 25^th Anniversary: Sunday, September 7. Mark Your Calendars: tickets go on sale on Friday, August 1, 2008 at www.scu.edu/vintage .

An Easy Way to Stay Connected during the Summer

SCU Alumni's inCircle is a great way to stay connected with fellow Broncos in your regional area during the summer months.  It is now even easier to learn when events and opportunities are posted to your inCircle account with the new RSS feed.  You can now add your inCircle account to your RSS reader, iGoogle, My Yahoo or Blogline account. 

Log in today, scroll to the bottom of the homepage, and click on one of the appropriate icons.  Your inCircle opportunities, messages, and friend requests can be brought to you wherever you are on the Web.

CIE Founder's Awards

Who are Santa Clara University's most notable alumni entrepreneurs?  The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) has announced the inaugural Founders Awards to help identify, recognize and elevate these notable alumni role models.  The Founders Awards recipient will be honored at the CIE's third-annual Founders Club banquet in October.  If you'd like to nominate an outstanding alum please complete the online form .  If you have any questions you can contact us at (408) 554-5757 or cie@scu.edu.

Bay Area's 40 under 40 Class of 2008

Each year the Silicon Valley Business Journal names the 40 most influential business individuals under the age of 40.  This year five SCU alumni have received this honor:
