The SCU Alumni Association is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Alumni New Orleans’ Immersion Trip which will take place February 2 – 8, 2009. Working with a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist families affected by Hurricane Katrina, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourselves in the local community and see firsthand the conditions facing the individuals on a daily basis. This immersion experience provides a great opportunity to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, & help transform a family's life forever. Looking for a way to stay connected and shape the future for SCU? The New Student Recruitment Program connects alumni with approximately 10-15 high school students who have been admitted to SCU but have not yet made their college decision. Volunteers are asked to congratulate and encourage students to attend SCU through personal phone calls and/or e-mails in March & April, 2009.
