October 15-18, 2009
8,439 Bronco... 4 Days... 1 Family

Join us as we invite back all NINE reunion classes to campus for ONE spectacular weekend to remember, reconnect, and renew. During the four days, there will be activities for Broncos of different ages, majors, and affinity groups. Visit our Grand Reunion website at www.scu.edu/reunions for the most up-to-date information as it becomes available.

Changes in the Alumni Office

After 2 years with the Bronco Bench and 7 years in the Alumni Office, Anny (Madden) Tedeschi '97 is officially leaving the SCU campus to tackle motherhood full-time.  Those of you who met Anny through the years know she has been (and will continue to be) a passionate Bronco, dedicated to meaningfully engaging all alumni with each other and their alma mater.  She will always be a special part of our Santa Clara Family and we will miss her energy, enthusiasm, and SCU spirit.

Alexander Graham Bell once said "“When one door closes, another opens...." and I am pleased to announce that Jenny Moody '07 has joined the Alumni Office staff.  Jenny's primary responsibilities will be chapter management of Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, Palm Springs, Sacramento, NY, DC, Boston, Central Coast, Denver, Hawaii, History, Fresno, Reno, Las Vegas, Santa Rosa, Napa, Stockton, the LA & NY Entertainment Group, as well as the Alumni Travel Program and 2 Reunion Committees

Jenny was a Management major and the Associated Student Body President her senior year.  She was also a Senior Orientation Leader and Community Facilitator while on campus and rumor has it, can play the fight song on her saxophone.  Please join me in welcoming Jenny Moody back to the SCU campus and the Alumni Association.  Hopefully she will get a chance to meet all of you soon!

A Tribute to Father Locatelli

In an evening filled with laughter and nostalgia, the Santa Clara University community gathered October 17th to honor the tenure of President Paul Locatelli S.J., and his 20 years of service to the university he so profoundly shaped.  Father Locatelli, the longest serving president at the University, will, in January, take on worldwide responsibilities as Secretary for Higher Education for the Society of Jesus in Rome.
