Water Polo) Administrative Matters: Athlete’s Ball: The group briefly discussed Athlete’s Ball and concluded that it was a success! Thanks to Candice Palmer for her hard work in organizing it. Elections: The group reviewed the new positions that were open for next year and voted on next year’s president. There will also be a homecoming committee that needs people! CHAMPS Life Skills: The sports psychologist panel will be Tuesday, 6/6/06. Holly Brown, Denise Fabris, and Matt Pinheiro will be speaking. Try to get at least three of your teammates to come! Discussion : The group had a brief discussion about SAAC next year president Micaela Esquivel addressed the group. Ian Frost was introduced as the Rough Rider representative and he shared some goals that the Rough Riders have, including getting 1000 or the 1300 incoming freshmen involved next year. Social Events: Next year the school is working together with many different people and organizations, including SAAC, to put together a huge homecoming week. Included in it would be campus-wide BBQs, athlete “Olympics,” a rally, and a red and white day. |
