The Role of Religion in Contemporary Chinese Society A lecture presented by Professor Zhejun Yu of the School of Philosophy at Fudan University in Shanghai, China Thursday, November 14 - 12 PM - Kennedy Commons Dr Yu's research interests lie mainly in the field of sociology of religion, both in the theoretical and empirical approaches with particular interest in civil society and religion in public sphere. He teaches theory of secularization, rational choice theory and studies Chinese popular religion (or folk religion).
