Student Employment
The law program is predicated on day students holding minimal employment and evening students holding only ordinary employment. First-year day students are advised not to seek employment. If they do choose to work, their employment should not exceed 10 hours per week. Upper-division day students should not accept employment that exceeds 20 hours per week. Those who need to work more than 20 hours per week should enroll in the part-time program. A part-time student should not accept employment that exceeds 40 hours per week. The School of Law is sympathetic to students with limited funds, but its full-time program cannot be varied to accommodate working students.
