- Building robust, scalable and secure IT systems, fueling an organization’s growth from zero to $2 billion and market dominance in its sectors. Supported 7,500+ users worldwide in a dynamic global environment and directed an organization that installed and managed global networks operating 24/7 and were used by thousands of users around the globe. Directed the standardization of the communication protocols and managed the security and accessibility of this global network.
- Spearheaded the seamless integration of IT systems, processes and personnel for 20+ major acquisitions worldwide; rationalized operations and right-sized organizations to minimize costs and optimize productivity. Successfully reorganized multiple local IT teams from numerous acquisitions, into a virtual team aligned by function across geographies.
- Architected and directed a business planning process that coordinated the activities of dozens of engineering groups, a field sales force of several hundred, business unit marketing and a supply chain of numerous internal manufacturing facilities and partners around the globe. This resulted in building a state-of-the-art centralized Swiss data center, standardizing the systems of 6 global business units on the My SAP Business Suite platform.
- Taught a variety of Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Information Systems, ERP, Data Base technology and Web Applications development at the University of Santa Clara over the past 25 years. Directed the operation and development of the University’s Information Systems. Has been a member of the Dean’s advisory board and the MSIS advisory board at the University’s Leavey School of Business.
