Greg Vaughn is a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management division. He is based in Morgan Stanley's Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park, California . Greg and his team develop customized wealth management solutions for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, private foundations / endowments, and privately controlled corporations. His team manages fixed income, equity and alternative investment portfolios.
Originally from San Francisco, Greg graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Business and Finance in 1978. He joined Dean Witter Reynolds upon graduation and moved to Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management Department in 1980. He was promoted to Vice President in 1983, Executive Director in 1988, and Managing Director in 2001. Greg has been featured in Barron's as one of the top five Investment Advisors in America for the fourth year in a row. Additionally, Greg and his partners were ranked as the #1 wealth management team in America in 2006, 2007, and 2008 by Research magazine. Greg is a member of the Board of Directors at the Nativity Miguel Network of Schools, a Regent at St. Ignatius College Prep, and a member of the Board of Regents at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. Greg and his wife, Liz, live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
