Roger Barnes

Roger Barnes is an expert in navigating the complexities of international finance, business operations, financial reporting, and turnaround management for high-technology companies. Immediately prior to joining Santa Clara University as a part-time instructor, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Riverstone Networks (RSTN.PK).

Mr. Barnes previously served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Solid Information Systems where he restructured the company's finance and operations organizations and spearheaded their drive to profitability. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Cylink Corporation (NASDAQ: CYLK), Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), and President and Chief Executive Officer at Formida Software Corporation. Roger began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick where he was a Certified Public Accountant working in their audit practice.

Mr. Barnes holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. Mr. Barnes currently teaches ACTG 300 (Financial Accounting) in our MBA program.
