The Santa Clara University Department of Accounting offers programs in accounting at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

    Our undergraduate accounting program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is the premier accrediting agency for degree programs in accounting. We offer two majors for undergraduate students: the Accounting major and the Accounting Information Systems (A&IS) major, which is jointly offered with the OMIS Department.

    Our popular Certificate in Advanced Accounting Proficiency (CAAP) program is a post-baccalaureate program that imparts the knowledge and understanding of accounting in seven consecutive courses during either a daily 14-week summer-long program (Summer CAAP Program) or a weekly nine-month academic-year program (Saturday CAAP Program).
