Global Business Perspectives : Asia 2007
IDIS 695 — Global Business Perspectives : Asia 2007In August 2007, some 30 MBA students in the Leavey School of Business travelled to Seoul, Hong Kong, and Shanghai to learn more about leadership from a cross-cultural perspective. This website presents their stories about preparing for the adventure, their trip, and their reflections about what they saw, did, and learned.
"When the Asia study abroad trip was first announced at SCU, I thought 'This is the chance of a lifetime...Where do I sign?' What started out as an opportunity to check off a couple of boxes on my 'Life's To-Do List,' turned into an eye-opening experience that has heightened my interest in being a global leader...As a result of my travels, I...will consider job opportunities which emphasize traveling abroad. Further, I am currently brokering a sourcing contact between a SCU alumnus I met at the SCU happy hour in Shanghai, and a client of mine." Sean O'Keefe, MBA Candidate 2008 ![]() | |
