Josh McGinn is Senior Vice President, Western Region Relationship Management for American Stock Transfer & Trust with more than 26 years of industry experience. In his current role, Josh manages shareholder services for publically traded and private companies out of AST’s new San Francisco Bay Area office where he assists with planning, developing and administering a wide range of services, including annual meetings, stock splits, acquisitions and exchanges exchanges, spin-offs, implementing and administering Direct Stock Purchase Plans, assisting clients with DRS, full dematerialization programs and shareholder information and communication campaigns. Prior to joining AST, Josh was with Computershare, BNYMellon and EquiServe organizations having started with Bank of Boston in the late 1980’s and developed that organization’s first book-entry ESPP Service. Josh holds both BS and MBA degrees from Boston University, has earned his Series 7 license, and has attained Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation. He is a member of NASPP, the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals (“SCSGP”) and NIRI. He has lectured at San Francisco University, authored material for The NCEO and is a frequent contributor to the NASPP, SCSGP and NIRI organizations.
