James Humza

Director, Equity Award Services, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

James Humza is a Director of Equity Award Services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He is responsible for business development for the firm’s equity award programs, Non Qualified Deferred Compensation and Friends and Family businesses.

Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, James spent 19 years at UBS Wealth Management USA in various marketing and management roles, including head of national sales for UBS's Corporate Employee Financial Services department.  James spent 4 years as a Managing Partner and Senior Vice President in the firm's Hartford, Connecticut office, where he focused in providing administration services to equity award programs and specialized services to executives, for several Fortune 100 companies.

James is a member of The Board of Advisors, for Santa Clara’s Certified Equity Professional Institute, an active member of the NASPP and one of the founding members of GEO.  James is a frequent speaker on the topic of employee stock plans.
