Biography
Marsha L. Tepper, CEP, Executive Director, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney
Marsha is a content expert in Equity Compensation administration and has been in the industry for over 25 years. She has worked extensively with companies offering executive and broad-based plans. Marsha has wide-ranging expertise in business process design and implementation for administration, industry best practices, plan design and communication strategies. Marsha has her CEP designation and is a long standing member of NASPP.
Marsha joined Morgan Stanley in 2005 to run their Stock Plan Services business and is now a key member of the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Global Stock Plan Client Experience team. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Marsha held the position of General Manager for Computershare Plan Managers, Shelton, formerly the Transcentive Outsourcing business. In that role she led the team responsible for building the Outsourcing business unit creating a successful enterprise in just 3 years. Marsha began her career as an independent consultant. In her consulting role she assisted her various clients in selecting stock plan outsourcing vendors as well as implementing in-house software solutions, introducing best practices, and reengineering internal processes for efficiencies and cost savings.
