Biography

Vaness Renna, CEP - Senior Manager, Stock Administration, Amgen

Vanessa Renna has over 10 years of stock plan experience with private and public corporations.  In her role at Amgen, she manages global equity plan administration in over 30 countries including options, restricted stock, restricted stock units and performance units, in addition to mergers and acquisitions and large scale vendor and product implementations.  Prior to joining Amgen, Vanessa was AVP, Equity Benefits for Countrywide Financial Corporation where she managed administration and design of global equity plans, Section 16 reporting and employee training.   Vanessa received her Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation from the CEP Institute in 2003 and maintains the designation through continuing education.  She has been actively involved in the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) for over 7 years serving on the board of the San Fernando Valley NASPP chapter for the last 5 years, and speaking at the national NASPP conference.  Currently Vanessa serves as the President of the San Fernando Valley NASPP chapter.

Prior to becoming involved with equity plans, Vanessa worked in Human Resources for 12 years in the utility and financial industries.  Vanessa graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and holds a certificate in HR Management in addition to the CEP.
