Dia Delights™, named after the Roman goddess of Earth and growth, is committed to bringing you vegan and gluten free pastry and desserts with a high nutritious value and controlled caloric intake. All pastry and desserts are prepared with gluten-free flour and contain no refined sugar, using only evaporated organic cane juice and natural sugar substitutes such as agave nectar for sweeteners. Other ingredients such as fruit, coconut oil, flax seed, and chocolate are organic.

Dia Delights will not offer its products through running a bakery shop; it will rather operate as a network of bakeries and a distribution channel. The plan is to create a system which will connect and engage local bakeries and tap into their unused capacities in order to bake and deliver freshly-baked healthy alternatives for local neighborhoods, schools, daycare centers, coffee shops and restaurants.  For more information on products offered and details on how to place an order, visit DiaDelights online at

Update:  Dia Delights™ has formed a corporation, received their necessary permits to begin operations, and are now selling their products at the year-round Santa Teresa Farmers' Market in San Jose (open Saturdays, 10am-2pm). 


Sanja Pesich is a marketing and business development consultant and the former founder and marketing director of The Friends Language School, Nis, Serbia. She received an MBA with a concentration in marketing management from Santa Clara University and also received a bachelor of arts degree in English language and literature from the University of Nis, Serbia.
