Santa Clara Startup Expo 2012The Santa Clara Entrepreneurs Organization (SCEO) club held the second annual StartUp Expo The fair was open to all majors, and participating employers offered paid and unpaid internships as well as part-time and full time jobs. Startup Expo also featured several Santa Clara Alumni and their startup companies, including RoboteX Inc, Sizemyk, Stylematic, Cahoot and Optown. Several California Program for Entrepreneurship (CAPE) graduates also participated seeking interns for their startups including Red Seraphim, Megan’s Living Well, SePalz, and InnoVentions. The purpose of the event was to expose startups in and around Silicon Valley to Santa Clara University and our exceptional student body. The fair allowed student and employers to interact in a way that would be beneficial for both parties. With a premier location in the heart of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara University is the perfect place for startup companies to showcase themselves and hire prosperous students and that is what this event was designed to accomplish.
