The CIE, together with the Santa Clara Entrepreneurs Organization (SCEO) club and the SCU Career Center have secured the date for the 2015 Startup Expo--We invite you to mark your calendars for March 4, 2015, 5:30-7:30 pm, in the Locatelli Center.  This unique career fair is focused on local startups seeking SCU talent.   

Students:  The fair will be open to students of all majors and year of study (undergraduate and graduate), with participating employers offered paid and unpaid internships as well as part-time and full time jobs.  Students do not need to register, just bring your resume!  Representatives of the SCEO will be on hand that evening to welcome you to the fair, hand out a booklet of the companies attending, and share more information about the club. 

Startups:  This event is free of charge, but registration is required.  Startups may register for a table in our BroncoLink system and takes just a few minutes (your account is free and posting available positions to SCU students is also free).Invitation to follow-you're welcome to email Linda Jenkins, ljenkins@scu.edu, to get on the list.

Santa Clara Startup Expo 2013

The CIE partnered with the Santa Clara Entrepreneurs Organization (SCEO) club and the SCU Career Center to host the third annual StartUp Expo startup expo signon Wednesday, March 6,  in the California Mission Room, Benson Memorial Center.  This unique career fair is focused on local startups seeking SCU talent.    Approximately 50 Silicon Valley startups attended the event, connecting with more than 300 Santa Clara University students. 

The fair was open to all majors, and participating employers offered paid and unpaid internships as well as part-time and full time jobs.  Startup Expo also featured several Santa Clara Alumni and their startup companies, including Entefy, ReadyPulse, Social Wimzy, Celebrate-Family.com, Sepalz, and Optown.  Several California Program for Entrepreneurship (CAPE) graduates from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 cohorts also participated seeking interns for their startups as well.  startup expo 3 210

The purpose of the event was to expose startups in and around Silicon Valley to Santa Clara University and our exceptional student body.    With our premier location in the heart of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara University is the perfect place for startup companies to showcase themselves and hire some of the most talented students around.   

We invite you to mark your calendars for the 2014 Startup Expo to be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, 5:30-7:30 pm, in the California Mission Room.  Startups are welcome to contact Linda Jenkins to be included on the invitation list as soon as registration is available.
